Wow! Those are some very nice looking specks. If I had to guess, I'd say they do not look like Lake Harris specks at all. Sounds like you caught them shallow?
Thanks for posting the pics.
Finally found some bedding action. The bulk were 14"-15" and half were males. Roe is getting closer, water temp was 70, last 30 min of sunlight. Went back Sunday, not so good. Went back Tuesday, a little better. Things are picking up!

Not Harris, yes in 3-4 feet in the pads.

Very nice.
THE BEST TIME TO FISH IS WHEN IT'S RAINING AND WHEN IT'S NOT RAINING
Nice work Russ. I found a few in the pads on Monday, not any real #s but they were bigguns.
thanks for the report, seems like everybody has stopped reporting on the harris chain. whats up with that?

Crappiegirl, to your question, I believe the Harris Chain to be inferior to many of the lakes within an hour distance. I know there are a few of you who know it well, but for me, and I have been fishing it periodically for the last 20 years, I find it to yield less quality than many, many other lakes.
Just my opinion of course.

Were getting ready to go back out this evening and try again. Maybe I can get a post on the big fish thread!
