Took the wife fishin' Saturday afternoon. About sunset we found some fish feeding on shad on a ledge. We were catching crappie pretty fast just casting to them and I was fishing facing the bow and not paying her a lot of mind in the back(she can take her own fish off LOL) All of a sudden I hear her drag then a sincere OH MY GOD! (that usually means snake with her) I turn around and she has a bass about 14" . I said what...she said I had that bass beside the boat when a giant fish half as long as this boat grabbed it then let go. I am like wait a minute...did it sort of look like a gator and was probably closer to four ft long? She said yeah and it was huge!..I said well it was a Muskie and it was probably closer to 4ft long. She said all I know is it scared me half to death! I ain't never going swimming in here again!

Had that happen in Canada before. They look like torpedoes coming towards you. Spooky looking fish too! GTT

had that happen in Canada as well, big wave coming to grab the smaller pike I had on my line, is kinda spooky and be the wife would freak on that. Nice lil story but where are the pics of the crappie and your wife holding the bigger fish?
