Headache!

Several years ago,my younger brother,his brother-in-law Big John M,and myself decided to go cat fishing.Afrter driving several mile to a secluded river hole,we decided to do some Muskie fishing untill dark.
Big John,put on a large Red devil spoon,and gave it a hard cast.The spoon sailed across the river,and into the top of a tree,snagging it.Big John began yanking to free it,me and little brother ran for cover.Due to a heavy line Big John succeeded in freeing the spoon,like a rocket it shot back toward him at super sonic speed.
Some say he was lucky,we may never know,but Big John turned his head just as the double trebles hit home.There he stood,holding his rod,With a Muskie spoon dangling just above his right ear,yelling Get it off,get it off.Me and brother were laughing too hard to be much help.
Needless to say,try as we may,we couldn't hold Big John down long enough to yank the hook out.Brother loaded him up and headed for the emergency room ( about 80 miles away )I stayed to fish untill they returned.After many hours,they returned,Big John was lying in the back seat,with his whole head wrapped in a bandage,moaning about the pain.
Brother told me Big John wanted to go home,he said the doc tore a two inch patch of hair and flesh out of Johns head.The only thing the doc said was "You big boy,you cry too much,You do stupid thing,then he gave the spoon a big yank.

My uncle did pretty much the same thing while bass fishing one time. He hung a big white willow leaf spinner bait in his nose and I still remember that blade fluttering while we motored back to the truck. Funny to me, not so much to him. GTT
