Anyone have a problem with the TM clicking making some noise near the sonar screen?

I use to have that problem. If you change the ping rate you will notice the clicking sound changes accordingly. I tried all sorts of things including a lower power depth finder. (which helped a lot) Then one day it quit. I'm using a LCX27 on the bow mow and so far no more clicking.

I forgot. That was with a US-1. When I discovered that was only a 14° cone, I put Lowrance's xducer on the bottom of the motor. Maybe thats what fixed it, I can't rememeber.

You are in good company with the memory issue.

This is all I could think of. I am just not sure. Maybe some others will chime in here.

I also have that clicking, but I mainly have so much interference that I have to turn off my trolling motor to get a depth reading. They're supposed to be sending me a kit to address this---hope it doesn't take too long, it was very irritating this weekend.

i solved that problem by putting a regular trans on my motor . would not buy a u1 or 2 again. lots of this stuff seems like a good idea but it just do'nt work. most companies just do'nt test just rush to market.
