    Default New trolling motor

I've posted this in other places. Bass Pro has Prowler trolling motors. Can someone tell me anything about them? Thanks Doug

    Default Trolling motor.

I am also interested in hearing about this motor. Who makes it?
    Thanks for any info.

Cool No first hand experience but...

I've heard that it's like a generic Motor Guide. May be a good TM. Bet it's made in China.

I wouldn't fool with the Prowler when the comparable Minn Kota sells for the same thing. I see the Minn Kota 30 lb. thrust model selling for $99 (sometimes less) at places like Dick's. And you can get discount coupons to Dick's if you look around. Minn Kota has the better indestructable composite shaft and a 2 year warranty. Not sure the Prowler warranty, Bass Pro doesn't bother advertising that.
