Single battery takes up less space and weight diff. Personally,,I prefer to stick with 2 batteries in case you had issues with one.
I talked to Amped Outdoors and they said, "For your motor, we do sell the 24v 50AH and 24v 80AH which is always better than running two batteries in series." When I asked when the 12v 60AH batteries will be back in stock
I can get two 12v 60AH for $759.98 (without a charger/sold separately) or one 24v 50AH for $799.99 (with charger).
Forgive my ignorance, why is a single 24v 50AH better than a dual series 12v 60AH?
The goal is to power a Garmin Force

The 2 12 volt 60 amp hour in series will have a 10 amp hour advantage over the 24 v 60 ah battery for less money

Yes the volts add in series. They had a 24v 50 ah battery the 12 volt ones are 60 ah. Two of those in series will give you 24 volts at 60 amp hours. A 10 ah advantage over the 24v 50 ah battery that cost $40 more

Love me some lithium power!
I run the ionic brand lithium. The single 36 volt 50ah. Just for reference, when Im dragging planer boards for catfish, I pull around .5 mph non stop for 5 hours and still have over 50% battery capacity left. The ionic batteries have a Bluetooth app that shows you all battery info in real time.
I know this wasn’t your question But I thought it may give you something to use as a reference for how many amp hours are needed. The math can be deceiving.
