    Default New fuse block wiring

Putting in a new fuse block at the front of the boat to power livescope system and eventually a new hb 360..
I know I should be using tinned copper, but I have wire left over from another project, happens to be 6 gauge. Wire run is about 20 ft. Waiting on a 6 gauge in line fuse to come in too. Should I go straight from the battery or from the perko switch for the new fuse block? I'm going to start the run with the inline fuse, butt connect to main wire, to fuse block.. coming off fuse block will be 10 gauge to an inline fuse and quick disconnect

I prefer being able to disconnect everything when the boat is not in use and charging batteries.i would install the Perko

I’d use perko switch, use good 10 from switch with fuse to block, then 12 to each unit power wire. Put the 6 up and save for a project where you really need it.

I would also go after the main switch, makes things easier when you need to cut power.
