Can you post a picture of the transducer cable end that plugs into the unit so I can see the pin configuration ...??

Hey guys, I have a 1989 Bass Tracker boat that came with an in-dash Humminbird Ultra Sounder depth finder/flasher. The transducer cable is broken off right at the transducer. Do any of you know where I could get another 'ducer?
.....and yes, I do have modern electronics but I would still like to see the old dash unit in working order
Thanks for any info, t00lmanii

Unfortunately that's not a xducer cable end for any the various HB xducers I have ...
Ebay may be your best bet ...

Rickie, do you have any idea what frequency the transducer should be? Cutting xducer cable is something not suggested to do, but I have done it in the past. I was given an old Eagle unit once that had a severed cable. I spliced it back together and seemed to work OK. Worse case scenario will have me attempting to splice this connector to another xducer.......I'm in the dark as to what signal it needs to be.
Thanks again for your help, t00lmanii
Last time I had to find an oldie I searched amazon and eBay. What I wanted wasn't listed but I contacted some dealers I saw selling old fish finder stuff. Didn't take long to find at I wanted...
I cannot find any info on this unit or possible transmit frequencies ...
It shouldn't hurt the unit to experiment with any 2d xducer ...
At best it may work fine ... At worst it may not give good returns (an xducer designed for a frequency that the unit does not transmit just results in poor vibration of the piezo = poor echo returns) ...
Do you have any xducers that you may want to try ...??

I may have one. Will look tomorrow.
This looks like it. No goo leaking and that’s a spider web by the pivot bolt. It has several scuffs but looks serviceable.
