    my son bought me a lowrance gen 2 .i am going to do some work for a guy who has a gen 3 with tons of brush piles marked. can he down load those on mine if he can i will do it for free.

    If either of you have an Ethernet cable - hook them together and power both units on ...

    Waypoints will automatically sync between Gen2 and Gen3 ...

    Or export to an SD Card an import into the other unit ...

    Not sure about Lowrance but Humminbirds just insert a SD card and download nav data insert to next unit and upload.
