Looking for reviews on Minn Kota Ulterra with Auto Stow/Deploy.
I heard I cannot use my DI Humminbird Helix 9.
That I must use the reg sonar by using the built-In transducer.
Has any one else run into this problem?

you can use the Helix, just won't get DI on the ulterra 'ducer as it's only 2d. However you can get one of Rickies "Da-Ducer devices for the DI 'ducer and use it that way

It is not recommended to use the US2 with a HB DI unit because the US2 is tuned to 200kHz/83kHz 2d frequencies ... and the HB DI units transmit 200kHz/83kHz 2d frequencies ...

Plus, as wannabe mentions ... the US2 has no DI piezo to function the DI technology ...

I have a Ulterra. LUVIT! i also have lowrance DI/2d mounted on Rickie's transducer appa ratus. LOVIT! I can select either the Ulterra 2d or the Lowrance DI/2d. These selections depend on what cable I hook to the Lowrance head unit. It is just so simple to use. I amaze myself sometimes.

Rickie, I'd have to look on my H12DI menus or you could look on Doug's HI0DI - but I think you can still possibly select "HB200/83" IIRC ...(maybe?)

I was goofing with my H12SI indoors today and I know that machine has that option - just not 100% on the DI unit without a trip to the garage and its in the 40's right now and I ain't gettin' outta my PJ's ~ lol!

If you don't take a gander PDQ - remind me tomorrow & I'll have a look - see.

You are correct Robert ... My mistake ... The HELIX 9 DI listed in the OP can use the US2 xducer if the "Connected Transducer" selection under the Sonar tab is set to HB 200kHz/83kHz ...
