Default Trying to get my old X51 Lowerance to work

Its an in dash on, my 1753 Triton Crappie boat. When I tried turning it on, the back light just flashes 9 times, then goes off. I pulled it out of the dash and checked all connections, including fuses and wires to battery and wires to unit. Dont know if unit is going out or transducer is bad. Never had a problem before. Where can I start to trouble shoot? I tried to push the up arrow key while turning it on, but nothing, just flashes 9 times again, then nothing....thanks for any suggestions....

I just tried doing a reset again, the unit will not enter keypad test mode. Seems like it kind of wants to, but nothing...thanks for the suggestion...

Check your battery voltage. Low voltage will cause them to behave oddly.

Just checked the voltage, it was 13.....Took it to my local dealer, and he tried powering it up, and said it was shot. Got on ebay last nite, found a X52 head unit that fit my dash, cheap. But the downfall is, I will loose my water temp on the unit. I do have temp on my hummingbird, that is connected to trolling motor. I am just hoping that my transducer is ok. I called Lowerance and talk to tech, and they said that transducer should be ok....(crossing my fingers)
