Default Battery Terminal Fuse Kit info….new product

New product. I believe this is what I need to manage my battery wiring on my pontoon since I don't have a junction block type accessory panel.

    Shipping kinda sucks.

I thought I saw something like this in Academy. Did you check with your local store? Fuses are a sure bet to save equipment that needs it. I only have fuses for my sonar and TM. The lights and radio and bilge pump and anything else I have a fuse on each so don't require one at battery. Good luck!

You should have a fuse at the battery. Remember, a fuse's primary purpose is to protect people, not equipment.

That looks OK but kind of limiting on the number of circuits you have. This is what I have always used, works well and makes for a very neat job when you are done.BLUE SEA SYSTEMS ST Blade Fuse Blocks | West Marine

I got a single bank like that in my Jon boat. My pondtoon has a "unique" wiring system. I am just cleaning up my hen house wiring. Everything was done on the fly to get it working. Now, Ima gonna make it purdy.

put a large fuse at your battery (say 30-60a) and then use one of these....which can be shipped to your local walmart for free Blue Sea Systems 5025 Fuse Block Ato 6 Circuit W/Grd- - Walmart.com

The negative bus is exactly like the oem terminal/fuse blocks on boats nowadays. Make all your connections at a common location for simplicity

That is what I have in my Jon boat. No place convenient in my pondtoon battery hold to mount a fuse panel or block.. I have to move some relays to remove the batteries from the battery hold. Tight squeeze.
