As long as the user is understanding what the image is showing...and the "mind's eye" can interpret this into something comprehensible in his own understanding of what is being scanned...then "accurate perspective" in the image is not necessary....
The same idea is used when increasing Chart Speed to elongate fish echoes....we know those elongated fish echoes are not "true to perspective"...we intentionally made them longer with a higher Chart Speed for the specific purpose of making them stand out better in the image....
I was interested in seeing if kosmo's 998 processed Chart Speed with 7.090 the same way my 1197 processes Chart Speed
with 6.310...
