Just to make sure, to turn off the sonar what I do is hit the upper right corner where the icons for the 360, sonar and i pilot link are. That opens up the menu and I hit sonar. From there I can see the sonar sources. I hit DI and all the way to the right it says on/off. I turn it off and when I go to the other tabs (SI, 2D) they are all turned off.

My simulator has been off all this time so that's not affecting the booting time.

How did the update on the 360 go?

sonar option.there will be a menu on the left.2d/si and di.choose the one that you want to kill the pinging.you can verify which one is killed by viewing a window that includes that view.if you did things right that view will be frozen while the others work.i did this today to verify that it works.i stopped the pinging on the 2d first.this froze all sonar views.then I did si then di.(360 is shown there also,but I don't have it hooked up yet)

Ok, got it going now. Restored defaults and now I can turn off pinging for DI, SI, or 2D. The clicking goes away when I turn off SI or DI.

Kosmo.....Thanks a bunch for posting those.....That DI REALLY is awesome, and the 200/83 is fine also.

Are you running 800Khz on the DI all the time? Have you tried 800Khz on the SI?

Do you know how far you can scroll back? I assume you can scroll back and mark waypoints in the image that has scrolled off the screen.

Maybe Deil11 needs to ask them for the 0.00 release

Thanks bob,those will be the last ppictures posted using software version 0.00.i was contacted through email today by humminbird.they want me to update my unit.they have sent me software version 1.20.im going to install it tomorrow:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: I post back later with the results of that . i didnt no about that scroll back thinggy,i didnt see anything in the manual about that,but i really didn't read all of It either.best i can tell is you touch and hold the bottom of a window and a slide bar pops up,then you just take your finger and touch the screen anywere you want,and just drag it back in h istory and drag back forward.theres a limmit in how far it gos.i havent tryed marking waypionts yet .)
