I would just go with an automatic circuit breaker, Napa has them about 6 bucks
Hey Guys, I melted the in-line fuse holder the other day. Its the one for my trolling motor. I have an 03 Panfish 16 with a Motor Guide Trolling motor and it still had the factory red colored in-line fuse holder on the positive wire. I think I done it while trying to pull the motor up while trying to get through some heavy weeds.
Whats the best fix for the problem? Should I just go back with the factory style or get a circut breaker type? This has never been an issue before and its never blown any fuses.
Thanks for any info, Crappiepro
I still use one rod at a time!!

Whats the amp on that auto circuit breaker? I only run a 12 volt system so will that be OK?

Fuse the wire you have going to TM based on wire size ampacity.

Should get a 50 or 60 ..depending on how many pounds of thrust it is.
The size of the breaker depends on the size of the wire, the size of the motor and the distance between batteries and motor.
