I just sold the best one. I love the Garmin rhino series. Rhino is the best made GPS with the best features. I also like my delorme because I can use a navionics in it.

I have a Garmin etrex legend HCL. I have the Southeast lake maps on it as well. Very accurate unit. Whatever you get, look at the software you want to use first, then what units will run the software. That's what I did.

I have a Nuvi 1490...I like the larger screen plus it's cheap on ebay. I have a lake map loaded on it. Will soon be getting a Garmin 7200 to install on the boat.

Nuvi 1490 sound likes a unit for the truck, are you saying that you can load a lake map on to the garmin nuvi 1490? can you have pinpoint waypoints? I have a garmin 1300 and I tried saving a grid coordinate and it gave me the nearest address as across the street from my location. Please tell me what I did wrong.

Which Lowrance do you have? I was thinking of the out & back, then I saw the safari for 219.00, seems to good to be true.

I have a lowrance safari and i use it for hunting and fishing with precision multi way points and love it. I check it with my garmis long and lat and is dead accurate.
