    Default Motor guide wireless help

Please tell me how I can get my transduce on it. There is no room for a cord to go in the housing around shaft. There has to be a way to make it Work. I can put it on but this shaft has to slide to put it in store when done fishing. Don't want all the slack to be tangle up. If you have one please post a pic so I can see. Any ideas

I have the same issue. Same TM too. I just tie wrapped the wire around whatever part of the shaft that was left above the drop in mount. And left my wire loose and attached the transducer to the foot of the TM. I got leave. Sme slack in between but I works okay. Wish it was better. Just can't do Over 270 degrees. Or your wire from the graph will get twisted Just gotta watch. It. And make sure your prop doesn't get in to your wire.
I kinda posted on this post just to keep it updated. Hoping someone would have a better solution. I don't like the way I have mine. But it's worked for several years like that. But I'm always worried about it. And it's just one more thing to worry about especially when your hung up or whatever.
Good luck and someone please help on this subject. Sorry for the pitiful reply of mine. Nthere has got to be a better way than mine out there.

Don't have time to go do it right now, but will try to take detailed pictures and post at a later time. Have to go start frying fish for church dinner tonight, and must leave by 3:00, sorry but just saw this thread a moment ago.

Ok, went and took some pictures while waiting for the oil to heat up, just got home from church so will show you how I did mine. I attached the transducer behind the skeg, and routed the cable around the motor holding it in place with electrical tape so it doesn't bind in the cradle. I attached a pipe clamp for pex pipe to the front of my unit as a cable guide, and use a velcro strap to secure it to the shaft each time before I deploy the motor fully. It's quick and easy to attach, and I just wrap it around the shaft and wire when it's stowed. You can use zip ties to secure the cable above the pivot, and then run the cable along the inside of your power cord. Just leave a little slack so your unit can rotate fully in either direction. Notice the slack in the top and bottom sections, then zip tie it at the base of your power cord. It's not perfect, but was the best I could come up with.Name: IMG_0556.jpg
