    Default Navionics or FHS Chips

I am looking at buying a Navioncis chip or Hots spots chip for my HB 798 SI combo. I have a couple of questions.

First which would you guys recommend?

Second can i view the maps on my computer so that i can pre plan my trips? If so do i need extra software or anything?

    Thanks for the help.

The 798 will only use the Navionics HotMaps Premium chips and not the Hot Spots chips.

Yes you will need some sort f software to be able to view on your computer. Navionics makes one or two programs that are available for this and I think there are some other companies that do as well. Check the FAQs on their web site for this.

Greg, does that apply to 797 SI combo with the maps.

    Thanks for your continued support!
