I noticed Cabellas is saying 1 to 2 wks.
Is the I Pilot being shipped now? I have heard it had been delayed.

The information I have through the official MinnKota channels is that the units are being released in early December.
I have a V2 and heard the foot pedal won't work with I pilot.
Will a wireless pedal work or just the hand held control?

Lets say you have recorded and saved a track. How close do you need to be to that track to go back over it? Seems to me the since it is GPS guided the distance could be unlimited. However it would attempt to get to the initial point in a direct line and that could be hazzardous to your health.

Some new i-Pilot content is available on my site. Check it out for information on using Spot Lock and Cruise Control in a tough river boat control situation:
MinnKota's i-Pilot for precision boat control
Put the i-pilot to the test today. When I set the spot lock the motor rotated 180 and rapped my cord up and kicked out. I understand the timer and why it kicked out. It broke my locking collar on the motor shaft B/4 it tripped. I turned the boat into the wind and waited for it to stall and hit the spot lock again. It wanted to do a 180. . What am i doing wrong ? If I am sitting still the spot lock should not activate the motor until i am out of the perimeter . I don't think it should try to do a 180. I need to know why it broke my colar . Any help will be appreciated.
