ok. made a trip to bass pro over the weekend. pricing all of the above. if my wishlist came true it would cost me around $1700 just to troll---------------OMG
I installed i-pilot two weeks ago. The anchor feature is absolutely wonderfull for fishing the submerged brush piles of bull shoals lake. If you choose to set out away from the structure and pitch jigs or if you would rather sit right on top of the treetop and fish verticly, this is a most usefull tool. The track feature allows you to troll from treetop to treetop and at a gps speed rather than just a number on the foot control. Forget the wind, the unit will keep you positioned. Hope this is usefull to someone and if any questions, ask away.

right, crappiegirl. It ain`t cheap and back home in miss fishing stick-ups i could not justify the cost but here on bull with no visible structure it is worth it. I was fortunate when i built up my crappie boat i choose to add the terrova so all i had to buy later was the $400. I-pilot upgrade.
Surely someone will take a remote and convert it to a wireless foot control for the V2. It will sell when someone makes it... because i will buy it!
I am installing one of these today. It is switch selectable between foot and I pilot. If you want this box remote controlled, I can make the box turn off and on with a clicker. Costs money.

I bought my V2 with Ipilot installed and dont have a foot control at all to even switch back & forth with. But i am thinking you can pair more than one remote to the ipilot. That's why i was thinking of buying an extra remote and figuring a way to make a wireless foot remote out of it. Maybe I'm wrong and you can't pair more than one remote to the unit???
You can have 2 Ipilot remotes, but they only control the I pilot. The two remotes are not compatible (Ipilot vs copilot). When the ipilot is installed, it removes the steering voltage control from the foot pedal. The interface unit I build creates a new steering voltage for the steering motor and allows you to select between the foot or the remote. Not simple as a plain ol switch application.
