    Default Vent Fan

Finally got around to installing a vent fan in the garage. Don't know why I waited so many years to. The $16 Home Depot bathroom vent fan exceeded my expectations and vented very well. Will make life easier come winter time and won't have to open garage doors. My pyrex of plastic sits directly under fan the majority of the time. Currently I have it sitting on my jighead oven to get it a little closer to fan.

here is a couple of pictures of my exhaust fan it definitely sucks everything out of the room plus all the heat I have been there also is it will pull the temperature down over 10° in a hurry the fan is the type that they use it for commercial use. you can buy them at any hardware store I believe that they use them in the attic also they use them in nurseries.

looks real good doc, you could make you a small hood out of cardboard now and let the spring whit cover hold it up, increase your work area just a tad.

Bob how do you like the tail press?
    Are you 'pressing or slamming'?

I am pressing and I love it you're wanting to make your tubes and let them set for overnight before you cut them we are using nails and dip in them .

I know I am not Bob, but I have a lot of experience with Lure Craft's tube press.

It is a good little press for the hobbyist, if you are going to get into any kind of volume cutting tubes (crappie or bass) then there are MUCH more durable options. I managed to darn near blow up the Lure Craft press, basically broke it in half. I then built a press using a 3 ton arbour press and used it until I got the Pneumatic Tube Guillotine from Leonard @ *********s. The hand operated presses I had a tendency to break blades in the cutting block fairly consistently, but the new air powered press I have only broke one blade and it was my fault

You certainly do have experience. I watched the video and admired your work. After ordering a tube mold from Angling Al I talked with Josh and he suggested rather than get an arbor I get a large mallet and smash the razor blade holder with it. Seemingly a similar concept to what ********* has.
    What do you think?

Nope, nothing like what we developed with Leonard. I would never even want to think about cutting like that. Too slow and what happens when you hit it and have a blade or 2 blow out. Very worse case scenario order a press from Lure Craft or hold off and wait to see if Leonard finalizes a hand press as it will be built properly and be built to last.
