    Default Motor oil finally

Ok after playing with it this afternoon I finally achieved what I wanted. Problem is my pictures don't do it justice.

The second picture u can see the green tint but depending in way look at it will turn a solid green or gold oil color or turquoise Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438309164.021771.jpg

It is MF brand motor oil. Warning there bottles don't come with a dropper cap. I used a syringe and just added drops until I got the green sheen I liked. Unfortunately I didn't count the drops from my syringe lol. I will next time for sure.

Sometimes colors can be very hard to capture in a picture. Maybe try a camera set up on Manuel setting may help get the colors to show more accurate. Purple is hard to get right for sure!

The camera is definitely not a friend in some instances, that's for sure. Hi lite can definitely be tough to drag out of a color in a picture. Something else to consider when considering a color is how much mass and how thick is the baits where you intend to use the color in question. Looking at the top two pictures you can see how the MO color has enough mass to really come off as almost too dark. But if you look at the thin area of the same color hanging down from the cup plug it could be perfect in a bait that is thinner. Personal preference will determine for each person what is just right and what's too dark. Myself I like light to run thru my baits so I generally mix colors thin and add more colorant to adjust the batch after the initial cook.

The charteuse tails on those bait make the motor oil really pop and the yellow in the chartreuse helps to pull the green out of the motor oil. They'll catch fish for sure. Nice work there.

Thanks sir, definitely still learning lol. I have really noticed how some colors really make each other pop and pull from one another. Sometimes in my head they look good but when I put them together they look terrible due to there pulling from one another. I too like the more transparent looks. What I have noticed is the transparent one will often darken when placed in water (I.e fishing). Say a light smoke to me in daylight looks good but put it in water and its appears black. Thanks for all the tips y'all have offered. I am definitely still learning just like in life!! Everyday is a new day !!!!!!
