I am not trying to discourage you but getting started takes a lot of time and a lot of money. There have been several posts in the past that gave you an idea of start up cost.
ok guys, im wanting to get into the jig pouring and making my on, im trying to figure up the cost of everything and see if its worth my time to make my own or just buy some, i have a 2 year old and time is very slim right now, which might be a good time to pour some jigs when im not on the water. not sure how long it takes to do this, any advice would be great. anyone know about how many say.. baby shad can you pour up with a quart of this stuff?
thanks guys

Minimal start up is going to run you bare minimal 200 bucks but more like 350 to 500. a half cup of plastic will get You 3 or 4 dozen baby shad depending on the mold You use.CF

You need plastisol - a qt goes a long way
dye
pyrex cup
microwave
glitter (optional)

Always be sure someone is watching your child in another part of the house before you make soft plastic baits. Some of the burns are quite nasty!! Be safe.
