Thread: Chattanooga Crappie Club tournament

Happy New Year!! It's tournament time! We are having our next Chattanooga Crappie Club tournament on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
This is an open trail for the public and members.
Tournament will be held at Chester Frost Park from 7:00am until 2:00pm.
Sign in will begin at 6:15am until 6:45am.
All boats must be in the water no later than 7:00am. Launch will be based off of sign in order at 7:00am.

We will have sign up packets available for anyone who wants to join the club.

Time: 7:00am - 2:00pm
Non-members entry fee: $35
Member/Non-member fee: $30
Members entry fee: $25
Big Fish is included in entry fee.
(7) fish limit (no dead fish will be weighed)
Only members will earn points to qualify for year end awards and qualify for the classic.
Live bait is permitted.

Yes, we had our CCC tournament today despite the wind, cold weather and yes even snow flurries.

Outstanding showing of brave fishermen & women getting out there before it was bright (just early) and catching huge fish (every fish was huge in my book after fishing in that weather). We had 10 boats brave the cold and almost everyone came back to weigh in with their 7-fish limit - great job! We did have two new teams come out and boy did you pick the coldest day to join in the fun - but we were very happy to have you and you're welcome anytime.


Our WINNERS were CCC President, Mike Johnson and his partner Nick Long - total weight of 9 lbs .90 oz and Big fish coming in at 1 lb .75oz.
Second place winners were Jim Minor and David East - 8 lbs .62 oz.

I hope everyone warmed back up and isn't too sore after trying to stand up in the waves the wind caused. Great job to everyone again - my hat is off to each of you (I can say that now that I'm warm haha).

Our next tournament is Feb 7th - we'll see you there!
