Default Advice on where to drop

Got a cove that Im cutting my teeth on trolling in. Theres a little side cove slam full of brush that produces all the 7-9"ers youd wanna catch.

Well on a recent nightstalk in the main cove at the creek channel, we were pleasantly surprised with several 10-15" fish.

Id love to put some boo buckets in that area. The banks are gradually sloped, going to 30fow in that area. This cove/creek is a couple hundred yards across. There is an old road bed near ( within 100 yds ) of where we night stalked, and the little side cove I like to troll, that comes from 30-33fow to 17fow on top of the road and back off to 30-33fow on the other side (thought it was an old pond dam or something, never looked at the lake map like I shoulda, looked up some old aerial photos here at work and saw the old road running through there). I was thinking of dropping my buckets along the road bed to give brushy cover on one side and a 'drop off' or 'hump' of sorts on the other side. Or should I just drop em along the creek channel and be done with it. Ive got access to lotsa buckets and boo, idk why Im so worried about where I drop these four, but I just think I could utilize that roadbed coming across open water like that to my advantage. I could be crazy. What do you guys think?

no worries on anybody else fishing it.....fair game if they find it, it's a public lake. just trying to make the most of what I drop in as far as location preference for the fish

dropped em yesterday in the 'channel' of that cove....not near the road bed since I was being watched lol. No good creek channel in it, theyre in 32fow............went to check 2 smaller boo buckets I dropped a couple weeks ago...marked a few fish on them...didnt have a rod with me. Cant wait for em to get 'right'.

Why did you go out on the water without you got no fishin pole?

Do like me, drop them every where, me GPS will hold 3000 waypoints, when that's full, we will have some new technology.
