Wood or gravel work cause they can't spawn successfully on mud and silt .
Anyone ever try it? I have some shallow crates and thinking about putting some small rocks in them and sinking. My pond don’t have a hard bottom so just a thought.

I just wonder if a old piece of carpet would work as I seen a minnow farm on you tube had some type of carpet mats that they used for minnow spawning. Sometimes people take out old carpet in there house and that would be a good reuse for it. What do you all think?

Bring back the shag!
Would probably work to raise fry, wouldn't want to fish it!
For bream we made a 4x12 rectangle out of PVC pipe . Stake it down or fill with concrete . pour gravel to 2 inches deep in rectangle . Make three and put in a stair step manner from 1 ft . deep , 5 ft. then last one at 10 ft . Here is the 1 ft .
Here’s my attempt
Sunk a few plastic trays with gravel
That's Awesome!!!!!
I'm in-sparred! I have several big garbage can lids I was about to throw away....but they would make great bream beds filled with SB2!
