Flash burn the leaves off first and they will hold fish faster. Great looking cover that will no doubt hold fish!

There is no need to burn any leaves off. The fish will find the new brushpile within a few minutes or few hours. The burning will just deteriorate the brushpile not enhance it. A close friend is with the Wildlife Dept. and he has installed a cedar brushpile and the very next day electro fished the pile and shocked crappie off of it.

I like to place several about 100' apart. Find a good drop off or whaterever that holds fish. Then add one each way about 100'. Sometimes I will go back and do one each way another 100'. That way you can start on one end and fish several without having fire up the big motor. I usually catch a few off each condo and when it slows I move to the next one. On a slow day we may fish 30 to 40 spots and this saves lots of motoring.

    They look great.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
