Actually when I put them in the water, the legs "float" and they pointed up. Worked pretty well.
Crappie1 I like those they will work great, you wont nave any trouble getting hung up in them a fish may rap you up but a hook wont stick one, but a biggun will rap you around anything. My father-n-law died this year and he had about 400ft of that black pipe in his shop and I could have got it and didn't. Good job

they look real nice,I thought about trying to do something like that myself but for $5ea more you could have bought the "porcupine" ( 4 for $125.) so I went ahead and bought them,,
I build mine that are giant for the expense of the cement only...varies from 1.25$ to 3$ per condo but generally runs about $2 each...I went the expensive route but now I realized pretty quickly if I was going to build 100 of these at say 7 bucks each, well that's $700...I like 100 @ $2 each much better.
Is this black water line cheaper than PVC Pipe?
Duane
My ex-wife calls me a CrappieHead
divorced and no one to answer to, lets go fishing
How thick is the base?
Yeah.....the black water line was cheaper than the PVC.
The base is a 5 gallon bucket cut in half and filled with quikcrete.
tie a small pop bottle to the ends . that will keep them floating :D . one on just one end will do and want put to much flotation on it
