I got my Crappie mount and it's awesome.

Seabrat did it up and did an absolutely fantastic job. It's a replica of a 2.5 pound crappie I caught this last January on Crescent Lake here in Florida.


It may not be a monster 3 pounder, but it's the best one I've caught so far, and it's a beauty. Thanks to TNT who put me on the fish, and my father-in-law for going with me. We had no net. He was the first fish of the day and I ended up lipping him like a Bass. I knew he was a biggun.

These Black Crappie down here in Florida are gorgeous. They are dark, and have a lot of iridescent Turquoise coloring along it's back. Really good looking. The replica has all that color in it too, and what a shame cause it does not show in the picture. If you're ever down here in Florida, make sure you check out a Crappie pretty much anywhere along the St. Johns waterway. Probably has the same coloring elsewhere around here, but that's where I know they are at.
