    I did my annual trip to Lake Drummond, it's been reported it has crappie?



    I tooled around the shoreline and did not get a bit, I kept seeing fish hit to surface about 50 yards offshore. Lots of hangups and I was tired of casting so I rigged up 4 poles to troll. 2 jigs and 2 100 series bandits crankbaits with only 5 to 6 feet of line out, I could see the lure.

    I set to speed on 2 and took my shirt off and decided to just tour the lake. It is a very cool looking place. Well I caught 2 at 6" both on the bandit. Those fish could hardly get the hooks in there mouth.

      Hey FW,

      I considered getting a permit for this year. I read somewhere online that they issue permits for Apr - Jun fishing.

      Nice pics. Did you do something different to the exposure to get them to look so surreal?
