My brother and I fished somewhat unfamiliar water at Cedar Creek. We had to make some final electronic upgrades on his boat to get it up to par so we didn't put the first line in the water till 11 o'clock. Water is still way down but the ramps are still useable.
We found our fish casting jigs in 15-18 ft water. Water had just a slight stain. Temp was 52 deg when we got there and rose to 58 deg by the time we left at 5 o'clock. Lotta Lotta boats.
We had to call it a day a little early due to some battery issues. We still had fun and enjoyed seeing two eagles working on their nest. Nice day to be on the water tho.
Happy Easter everyone! I gotta get ready for church so report will have to be cut short. Just walked outside and the spring birds are out in full force. Redbuds are poppin and spring crappie season is here! Let's go fishin!!!
