    What are you using?

Nice load of channels. Been getting the itch for some cat action.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

Default Another day over bait with Skitrip

There are no skunks fishing with me. Took a little effort but Ski Trip just got up graded a notch. Even blind sows can find a few acorns as they say. Here are a few photos from this morning.

I use a #1 or 2 Eagle Claw bait holder. Hook is small but works great. We have caught a lot over 10 lbs on it and biggest in the 30's. Still small enough to keep small fish from robbing bait to much. Saves on bait too because it takes less bait to cover it.

Wheat or corn works well. I use a mixture of scrap (floor sweepings) from a mill which contains a mixture of whole corn, ground feeds and pellets. I sour it in buckets of water.
