    I use circle hooks on ALL noodles and rods. If you really want to see the diference use equal amount of both tipes on your (jug,noodles) rigs. It only took me 1 trip with a friend that was useing circle hks to change mine!

    I agree with chicken, One good trip and my tacklebox was loaded with a good selection. they give me time to put down my beer anf not miss the bite.

    What are you talking about "fish that you release" what is that???
    Why worry about them swallowing the hook? We use big live bait like bream and plan on filleting all we catch. Never saw a jug/ noodle fisherman practice catch and release.
