Wow ! you did good ! Thanks for sharing !
I am new to crappie fishing, but not new to fishing. I decided to rig my Ranger 374V to crappie fish. Thanks to my mentors, Hotwater and Kissimmee Kowboy, I got good advice.
For details on how I made my rod holders and mounts see them at Crappie Ranger - Mostly MIATA.
I rigged my boat very similar to Hotwater's since I liked the rod holders he had. After a few fishing trips and adjustments the rig is well suited to crappie fishing.
I even added some cup holders.

Nice job on the metal fabrication!!! I enjoy doing that kind of stuff too.
That’s a very nice and efficient set up. Thanks for sharing
Thanks, we are enjoying crappie fishing now that we are rigged for it.
Another thing I during adjustments was to weld the top of the two bolts together with a spot of weld. Then only one wrench was needed to adjust the holders.
I made some very similar to those rod holder for my first set. The only thing I see that could help get the rods out quicker would be to shorten the Us and upside down Us. They don't have to be all that tall to not come out of the holders. Good job.
Yes, thanks for the suggestion. They are a little long and my brother says the same thing. I may shorten them when I get a chance.
