over night fishing
Its been many years, sence Ive fished at night from a boat and enjoyed it very much.Caught a few and had a good time.I plan to try it again some time this year, But Now my most fear is not fishing from the boat,But my worries are back at my truck and boat trailer being broken into and vandelized.
Are there any places that you would not fish at, at night because of this one reason only. I know at any boat ramp, this can happen to any one.But some are hit more than others..Does any one know of boat ramps that has a theft problem and care to point them out for me. I do Know of one ramp from talking to many different people that the ramp at Wrightsville on the Arkansas river was closed down, because of this type of problem. are ther any more that you might know of. Thanks

I remember years ago fishing at Wrightsville, we had to leave one at camp to watch it. Heard years ago that Lake Winnona being remote had lots of vehicle break ins . Was warned about Lick Creek ramp on Blue Mtn might not be safe to leave vehicles as it was a closed campground. Anderson Branch has had a few problems on Nimrod in the past being remote . My suggestion is only leave your vehicle at lighted ramps in an occupied campground , nothing remote on any lake or river . Good luck looking forward to future reports on your night trips.
