The other day my old truck was giving me trouble and I was on the side of the road. A truck pulled up and asked me if I needed help pushing it out of the road. I said yes and the guy and his wife and kid jumped out of their truck and pushed my truck while I steered. I thanked them and they went back to their truck. I Just happened to look back at them and the man that had pushed my truck had two prosthetic legs. I'm guessing he is a veteran. It sent chills down my spine. I wish I could find out who he is and take him fishing. If anyone knows a veteran that lives somewhere near Sunny Gap Road and has two prosthetic legs, please contact me.

I'm a old burn out combat Viet Nam vet, and I'll go most anytime that it ain't super hot, I can't take the heat, I've had a heat stroke, and it does a number on me. I'm getting ready to do some night fishing, and not worry about the heat...lol

Thank you captcall, and Thank You for your service... I must say after seven months over there I started to give up on making it back a live. There were so many dying and getting mangled I didn't care anymore, I just knew I was gonna be next, but God had his hand on me, God pulled me out of some very bad situation's, and I'm here today as a witness to God...Amen.

Thanks for your service Cowboy! Glad you made it home by the Grace of God, me to. Yup was damn tuff and a sad place for sure. Know what ya mean about not caring anymore, you got to get to that place to function and do your job. Our CO had us all write a death letter to our folks and friends, put it in our file so it could be mailed home when we bought it. Sure makes a 18 yo kid grow up in a hurry. Be damn if I didn't turn around and go back for tour #2. Guess I thought I was John Wayne or something. But the Lord watched out for me brought me thru some very close and hot spots. So I know I owe it all to him for still a being here. Just still don't know why he saved me but keeping my eyes open hoping I don't let him down and miss it. We just got to enjoy what time we got left for ourselves and all those good young men who didn't make it home. God Bless you Cowboy!!!!
