that is one fine looking catch
Finally getting around to posting last weekend's catch. My son-in-law and I got out for a little morning fishing on Saturday and Sunday before church. We were still catching them fairly shallow but not necessarily on the bank. Most of the time fishing about 2 feet deep in 3 to 5 fow. The mix was about 50/50 males to females. I've always thought when you are catching both males and females together in fairly shallow water that they are spawning. The lake level is currently so low that they really can only get on the bank in a few places, so I think they'll spawn in slightly deeper water this year.
