Met some AWESOME crappie.com members on Monday! Coolerfull and his buddy and RK1. We started the days early and RK1 had given us some tips. Things started off very slow. My buddy and I started off fishing with big head jigs and things weren't going well so we switched to cranking. Within 10 minutes we had caught triples and then fished the next couple hours just catching a fish here and there. Coolerfull calls us and says...."We are on em...come back to us!" We switched back to fishing single bighead jigs tipped with minners. Wen we got next to Coolerfull they were slinging them and we were still not doing well. We switched over to double minnow rigs, like Coolerfull was doing, and we started slinging too!!! Man it was hot and heavy! We had all 8 poles that had fish on at the same time and landed em all! RK 1 and Coolerfull had othe obligations and we stayed and mopped up on em for another hour or so. We were catching a fish every 5-10 seconds....and then they just stopped! We went about 15 minutes without catching a fish and then noticed a huge front had built up on us! We left blazing and barely made it to the truck before we got wet or worse! We had as many throw backs as we had keepers. All these fish plus the throwbacks were caught in less than a 2hr period. Thankyou RK1 and Coolerfull for the tips and for the fellowship! We had a great time and we have to get together again soon! You guys are awesome!

Great pics and catch, congrats!
Those are some real hogs LP! Did you weigh any of em before you defoliated em and dunked em in Crisco Bay? I would settle for an estimate on that near fish in the photo.
I would imagine just a lil shy or right at 2lbs. It was 15 inches long. These crappie are some decent sized fish compared to what I normally catch out of this lake.
Gitcha some of that! Way to go LP, there are some great folks on this site and LP is one of them. Man I wish I'd have been with ya. Thanks for the info guys. Those home grown tomaters, peppers, and pickles will be great with that fish fry I see in your future!
