    Default Had a Good Day


    On the water fishing the Mississippi Crappie.Com Fruit Jar championship tourney on Enid Lake. The weather turned out perfect and the fish were biting for everyone.

    My partner Heath Strickland and I finished 2nd with 12.48. Congrats to crappie guru John Harrison and his partner Jeremy Aldridge for their win with 13.08.

    We caught all of our fish power trolling Southern Pro Umbrella tubes with a Southern Pro Hot Grub curly tail on the back of them. We call it a Rattle Snake rig.

    We pushed 3oz weights with two 1/4oz road runners on the rigs with the Southern Pro tubes and grubs at .7 to 1.1 mph. We did harm a few minners too. Had a Good Day

    We caught over 50 keepers on the day, not to mention the shorts we caught, and were throwing back everything under 14" at 9:30-10 o'clock. It was a great day to fish!!!!


    I'm getting better on the 4 fish hold, but my partner hasn't got the 2 fish hold down yet. Had a Good DayHad a Good DayHad a Good Day
