Ty everyone for your input.
Would have to say Kerr Reservoir aka Buggs island on the border of NC and VA. Numerous styles of fishing- shooting docks, brushpiles, numerous bridge pilings, and incredible forage from two nice river systems!!
Grenada! Staying in motel in Grenada as I type this. Fishing for the next 3 days, plan to be here every weekend that I possible can the rest of the summer and fall!

My cousin was camping there with his dad when he was 6 years old and caught a crappie that is still to this day bigger than I have ever seen! And that includes pictures, mounts, records, TV, ETC. Had no scales to weigh it with. Woulda went straight to the official scales if I would have caught it cuz it had to be some kind of record. They just put the cold steel to it as soon as they got to the campsite. Broke my heart but to each their own. I think they did take a pic with it, I will try to track it down and post it if I can find it. Its rediculously big! I would think alot of people would be fishing this lake. I will go there and make a report if no one else has been fishing it and willing to share a report. Now that I have thot about this crappie....got me wanting to go!
Grenada is the best in the world right now in my humble opinion. When I say that please understand that I also believe that Sardis, Enid and Butla all run it a very close race so don't discount those fabulous lakes as you are driving by them because you would be doing yourself a disservice. I have heard good things from Millwood in the past but nothing in the past ten years. Arkansas has had it's share of fine Crappie lakes which have for one reason or another fell by the wayside. Lake Chicot was once a world class lake for Crappie.....but no more. Lake Monticello was once a diamond in the rough with the potential for turning into the crown jewel of South Arkansas...... churning out monster slab Crappie as well as Redear Bream of unbelievable proportions but it's once bright light has also grown very dim.
From the ARK-LA-MISS Delta....... Crappie Paradise ! ! ! !
I should deff stop by Sardis and Enid and fish. I may have came across the wrong way. No doubt theres good fishing there. Durn near any Mississippi lake is legendary. If I'm spending the money and time tho..... I'm headed to Grenada. Maybe some day when I don't have quiet enough time to hit Grenada I'll give one of em a try. Didn't mean to sound like I was insulting them or anything. Take care guys.

Grenada, I am hooked. I have caught maybe 4 fish there that were under 10", and too many 11" fish to count. Catching those 11 to 11 1/2 inch fish goes a long way to keeping you excited until that next >12" comes along.

You're missing out some great fishing. Grenada is the best for size, but you owe it to yourself to try all of the "Big 4", and Washington. Lots of GREAT fishing in Sippi. Good size in all of em, but better numbers in some. Just go where the fishing is hot at the time you come.
