You can launch at carter's, but the crappie sucked. Caught 2 keeper and 3 non. Today. Compared to 50-70 last week. Way too much water.

I've never been out to Nimrod but planning to go try my hand out there this weekend. AGFC shows the water level was 15 feet over normal pool on Wednesday. Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not i would be able to launch a fiberglass bass boat or if all of the ramps are flooded out.
Also, any tips or advice would be appreciated.

doh. hmmm... any recommendations on a decent place to go? I'm a complete and total noob to crappie fishing. Been bass fishing all my life. Trying to get into crappie to broaden my horizons and so that my wife can have a good time and maybe catch some fish. Bass fishing has proven not to be her niche... lol.
