    Default Slow start!!!

The first two hours all I could catch was dinks! Then instead of changing out riggs I decided to put a jig on the hook with the minnow lo and behold the first fish was a 14 "er caught 4 more about that size and 6 more 10 to 12"s it was still a slow bite but the jig did get some bigger fish to bite. Installed a 12 volt aireator for the live well and bait it worked great no messing with the cheap portable kind!

Good Job there young man. Sometimes them minners will dress up a jig good enough to get that tuff bite....

I might should have tried that. I fished a little Saturday afternoon and was on the fish but the bite was slow and mostly dinks. Way to adjust. Good thinking.

Fosh, that is a nice looking wintertime slab in the picture. Were the fish still deep and on the bottom?
