This time of year is the best time (only time for me) to be on Hamilton.

So that means you take the river all the way to Lake Hamilton, what is that in miles by water, i have put in there also but fished for trout up by the dam, it was summer time and boy o boy it was hot and the cold water made it feel like the air conditioner was on. I went down the river some and it was very shallow in spots and foggy as hell so i turned around and went back to the dam area. I only had a 14 foot Lund with a 9.9 merc at the time. I going to make that trip next time. When is the best time of year to make that trip?

I've only been on Hamilton a couple of times. I just don't care to get out there with the partying crowd.

The recreational traffic is tough in the summer months in Hamilton. I see the crank bait guides there fishing then however.
