We saw all sizes of black and white crappie. We will be sampling the crappie on Conway the first week of November. It is too early to evaluate the effectiveness of the regulation at this time. It has only been in place for 10.5 months. We will be able to evaluate the regulation change after a few more years. I do not foresee a problem with too many little crappie on Conway. There are tons of shad in the lake and Conway has very fast growth. If we see things take a turn for the worse, we will remove the regulation
