I love what you are doing Matt. If there is anything at all I can do to help, do not hesitate to ask. Not sure what I can do, but willing to listen to any ideas. This website has to be worth some good towards your efforts, well at least, hopefully.

Did he authorize you to deputize some deputies? I volunteer for that duty! This is a great big step toward fixing a problem we have had for years and years on Conway. Thank you, Matt. Let me know if I can help in any way. By the way, if you get authority got deputize, CP ought to be "Chief Deputy"!

I never seen trot lines completely floated. Got friends that suspend them under jugs but deep enough for boats to clear going over ? Don't get started cutting lines that are legal. This could open a can of worms to say the least .

Nimrod, One of the coves was about 100 to 125 feet from bank to bank and had 10 jugs floating on top of the water. I could possible see maybe 1 to 2 jugs to keep the center suspended but not 10. My opinion.

No one has said anything about destroying anything legal and properly marked and maintained!

Thanks for the support guys. I don't think that Enforcement wants us to organize a lake cleanup because they don't want volunteers cutting thing down and then get into a confrontation with someone. I will talk to them and see if I can organize something with several wildlife officers around, so that at least one AGFC employee can be within a group of volunteers. Maybe they would go for something like this.

Best bet would do something like that, gps and call . Let the AGFC personnel do the cutting down . That could save trouble with someone stepping over bounds .

I don't fish but i do go out on the lake in my kayak to take wildlife pictures. There are old limb lines everywhere. Ive found quite a few ducks, herons and other birds caught on them over the years along with the big fish skeletons. The amount of trash people leave at the public fishing areas is also ridiculous. It gets really bad during the winter under the 89 bridge & at the dam. I will gladly report any offenders i run across. Im glad to see other people care about the lake.
