Default Lake Maumelle: Trolling for Crappie

Anyone tried trolling Crappie on Lake Maumelle? It is close for me and just seeing if anyone has or had any luck. Thanks.

Been catching a few at the mouth of the channel, but with this warm up, they should be pushed on up into the grass. Not ideal for trolling, but great for a man with a jig and an ultralite.
He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

I troll quite a bit in the Summer. Never know where they will be. But, it is too handy to the house for me to ignore. One of these days I am going just to concentrate on bream. I catch some 1/2 to 3/4 lbs on Bandit 300's occasionaly. I also have many hits that I am sure are bream. DP

I trolled some crankbaits out there on the north end of the lake last summer and that's all I caught! They were good ones though.

I troll several times a year on maumele. Catch everything that swims. Not the Dead Sea!
