My yearly to ARK from WI was a bust because of weather. First two weeks fine, 2nd two weeks bad weather. Did well on Bragg Lake, crappie - 10 inch avg and LM Bass. Gurdon Pond was drained 3 yrs back and restocked etc. Crappies and bass small. Wanted to explore last 2 weeks but weather prevented this. Stayed in cottage at DeGray excellent accommodations. I bet you could have stayed home and seen the same weather. I hope next year will be better for you. DP

Fishing this winter has been tougher than usual. Glad you caught some early, still probably better than most did. Last two weeks, about as bad it gets for Arkansas, certainly for fishing. Better luck next year.

Glad you got to enjoy our state and caught fish. The pond at Gurdon thing, I don't think was on purpose. I believe just one day all the fish died in it. A news article was written. Maybe I can find it. People ate the fish after they were checked and deemed to be OK.

    That wasn't hard to find.
