    I just dealt with this recently and I ended up spraying just a shot of BANG garlic scent spray on mine to loosen them up. So far it's working.

    I use Reel Magic. I keep it sprayed on all my bass plastics, jigs and terminal tackle. You can get it at any wal-mart or academy. Same principal as meatgetter suggested with wd-40, except Reel Magic is silicone. Keeps hooks from rusting too.


    Then you can clean your electronics screens with it, spray in on electrical connections, clean your windshield in your boat and of course, condition your line and rod guides with it.

    I usually go through a couple cans a year. I love it!!
    I carry two jig poles, in case one breaks.
