Our camp will have at least an 8 yr old boy and an 11 yr old girl. I think your yuppy women would be pleased with the facilities at either Kirby or Daisy State Park. We will be in the newer part of Kirby because it is more conducive to rounding up the four campers our group will have. There are playgrounds at both. Your ladies might like Kirby better like ours because we wave at them as we are going up and down Bear Creek. Never ever have had skeeter problems. Hope you make it. DP

Good news! SWEPCO posted their power generation schedule for next week and it shows no power generation at all after this afternoon/evening so the lake level should be nice and steady for Crappie Camp. Steady water level and falling water temps should get the crappie in an aggressive mood.

I would say yaw definitely got a great mess before the storm. You gonna point us in the right direction to catch some of those slabs???!!! I have never laid eyes on Greeson. Im getting excited!!!

We went out for about three hours before sunset this evening and it appears that the cold front and associated storms that went through here on Thursday evening have scattered the crappie a bit. But we a got a real nice blacknose crappie, two big hybrid crappie, a few other crappie, two-spotted bass and several bream.
