X2. I have been ridiculed for saying this before, but Conway is not a lake you want to drive more than 30 minutes to fish when the bite is tough. And believe me, the Summer bite is as tough as it gets. But if you are determined, send me a pm and I will do what I can to help. Chances are, you will still get skunked. JMO

Thanks guys. I appreciate this kind of advise. I do understand that this is not the perfect time of year for Crappie. I'm just wanting to catch a few and then eat the heck out them. Need to get some fish scales and blood on the new boat and get it broke in properly!!

Lol, don't we all!!! My advice would be to wait until mid-October to make that trip. They will be STACKED under the 89 Bridge then, and they are easy pickins! Gold Creek will be hot by then too, but not quite as easy there. Either way, be ready to meet some folks!

Wow nice boat. It would be hard for me to put that in lake Conway for awhile. I'd want to get the new off for awhile before hearing the glass crack on a Conway stump.
